Please don’t hang anything with nails or screws without management permission. Do not graffiti on lockers or property. Clean up after yourself and your horse. Do not leave horse hair in aisles. All manure shall be taken to the manure bin, including manure in the indoor riding arena and wash pads.

Please use proper etiquette while on property and while riding. On trails, no cantering while passing. In rings, call inside or outside while passing.

One training lesson at a time in either ring (one per hour.) Lessons must be posted in advance on Calendar in Ring Barn. Management must be contacted before an outside trainer may come in. Outside trainers must pay 20% of lesson fees to KEM, provide Certificate of Insurance, and sign a Trainer Agreement form.

No lunging allowed while people are riding (unless you were lunging first.)

Lunge-line lessons can be done in the round-pen if riders want to use either ring. Free-lunging is allowed in the round pen only. If you set up jumps or barrels in either ring, you are expected to put them back where you found them when you are finished riding. All jumps, poles, barrels, cones, etc., are to be kept four feet away from the back doors of the indoor ring. They are a hazard when too close to an exit.

No standing, brushing, or tacking inside rings. No sitting on rails. No hanging blankets on rails. If you close another horse’s gate, make sure to open it when you are finished. Be sure to shut all gates, lights, doors, chains, latches, etc., before you leave. Last one to leave at night needs to close the front gate.
